I joined the NSMS family eight years ago and currently enjoy watching our first 

grandchild, Gillian, in our Toddler program!

I had no knowledge of the Montessori method when we were raising our five 

children here in Arlington but have come to realize what a wonderful experience 

it is. One of our children did her student teaching in Italy where 

the Montessori approach is used at all grade levels.  She loved it.

My expertise is in Accounting and it's great to work in a Not For 

Profit environment where the "bottom line" is not the focus.  The focus at NSMS 

is  to "Follow the Child".
