Half-Day Assistant

I have worked at NSMS for ten years. I started in the Toddler Class and then I 

moved to the Half Day Class with Mrs. Pyzyna, which is a lot of fun!  I am 

always amazed by our students’ coordination, vocabulary, and artwork.  I love 

listening to the children reading books.  I remember when my daughter was at 

NSMS, she came home one day able to make letter sounds.  The directresses and 

their assistants take pride in their work.  They are very helpful, too.

Favorite Movies:

When my daughter was young, we used to watch a lot of Disney movies such as 

Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Mulan, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and so 

on. We love Sebastian and Flounder, Mulan and Ariel.

Hobbies:

I did a lot of crafts with her, too. We also did a lot of painting and coloring. 

My daughter and I read all sorts of books, our favorite are Disney books and 

Aesop's Fables.

Favorite Vacations:

Our favorite vacation was in Kona, Hawaii. The ocean was beautiful as well as 

the surroundings. The fish come in pretty bold colors. Florida was a favorite 

spot when she was in grade school, especially visiting Disney World. That was a 

big playground for her.

Favorite Color:

I like all colors although I'm partial to yellow. 

Favorite Flower:

I didn't have a favorite flower until a student gave me an orchid some years 

ago. I named it Max. Every year, she blooms. I also have a Kelly plant, which 

has yet to bloom. Right now, she looks more like a small desert rose.
