Background

This is my 14th year at NSMS.  I received my Montessori training with  NAMC  

(North America Montessori Center Program).  

I also served many years on the PTA Board and was a Cub Scout leader for 11 

little boys, 5 of which became Eagle Scouts! 

I really enjoy working with young children.  I love their honesty and that 

wide-eyed look when they get excited or feel good about something they have 

accomplished.  NSMS is a special place, the best parts are all the hugs, smiles 

and the trust.

Fun Facts

Family:  I have been married to my husband Bob for 39 years.  We have two sons, 

Christian (35 yrs) and Jonathan (33yrs).

We also have a golden retriever named Miss Sadie.

Favorite games:  Scrabble, Sequence, bags, canasta and more....

My favorite teacher:   My First Grade teacher; I can't remember her name but I 

will never ever forget her face or her kindness.

Favorite Disney character:  Cinderella...of course! (I'm a girl who found her 

prince!)

Favorite sport:  Football/Basketball, Northwestern Wildcats, GO CATS!!!!!!!!

Favorite flower:  tulips

Favorite color:  pink

Favorite thing to do on the weekend:  Spending time with my family, catching-up, 

reading, baking, gardening or playing with my camera.  I don't have a problem 

finding something to do.  Boredom is not in my life....ever!

Favorite vacation:  We went to Hawaii when our two sons were 9 and 11 yrs old. 

When I was a child, I wanted to be a ballerina, nurse, teacher and a Mom.
